I have written multiple scripts for my films, and have done my short films with my friends.
I plan on going to film school this following year.
I am constantly trying techniques that I have seen in online courses, videos, breakdowns and simply watching movies- inspired by the following directors : Spielberg, Scorsese, Kurosawa, Tarantino, and Stephen Chow.
I am currently in pre-production of a boxing short film- taking inspiration from movies such as Rocky, Raging bull, and Fighting Spirit.
I have created an “ Indiana Jones “ short film.
I have created a pilot episode for a Detective comedy show revolving around the school.
I have created a Star Wars Western following the famous character Boba Fett.
I have created a 2 minute short “Horror” mirroring the style of the internet famous Backrooms, delving into liminal space.
I have created a 3 season long T.V show for my school starting in the style of a 80’s arcade game and slowly transforming into parody, resembling famous T.V shows and Movies such as: The Lord of the Rings, Dragon Ball Z, Star Wars, etc with an entire episode dedicated to 80’s Hong Kong Action Cinema inspired by Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Stephen Chow.
I am currently working on a short film in the style of Akira Kurosawa’s work. Similarly to the 1950s/60’s samurai films, it is filmed in black and white and features many of his famous shots, as the actors take on mannerisms common among his actors, and the whole story arc tackles similarly deep and sometimes dark themes.
Pre-production of script, shot list, and story board has been finished and multiple scenes have been filmed.
I am also currently writing scripts and stories for 2 other movies: A short film following different mafia groups in prohibition America set New Orleans- a tale of adventure with flares of black magic, classic mobster action, and topped with a score of Electro Swing.
Another script I’m writing is a film following a love story of an American spy infiltrating into Nazi occupied France-(Paris)- with similarities to the style of Titanic, as well as a filming style reminiscent of Casablanca.
I have written two short stories: One following a group of friends in a dystopian world (influenced by Cowboy Bebop) and a short story following Captain Joseph Barss- one of North America’s best privateers.
