Bio
Matthew Che'z Forster was born in the North of England, in the ship building town of Barrow-in-Furness. At the age of the 19, after 3 years of working in retail, Matt decided to join the British Military where he was awarded with a medal for "best recruit" after 14 weeks of basic training.
After leaving the military, Matt worked first for the Bank of Scotland and then worked on the construction of 2 Nuclear submarines. A year or so later, he flew off for the Okanagan to visit family, but instead created a family of his own.
Since arriving in the Okanagan back in 2009, Matt hasn't looked back across the pond. After working for 2 construction companies, he ventured out and built his own (Northern Monkey Stucco) but unfortunately suffered a work site injury, shutting that down. He see's this traumatic experience, as a blessing in disguise.
Since then (2019), Matt has jumped head first into the Okanagan film industry, working on over 2 dozen MOW's and Hallmarks in either background or actor roles, taking on numerous lead roles in several indie movies and commercials and had the opportunity to work on a major film "Dangerous", filmed here in Kamloops.
Matt is naturally creative and is always working on something from a drawing, a painting or writing a new feature film.
He doesn't have many years experience within the film industry, but he's hoping that his life experiences, creative talent and unwavering passion for the community will be enough to add something different and bring a new perspective to the team.
