* Equipment marked with " * " is owned by 1980FOUR Productions and is rented at a discount to OSIF members.
- Equipment can be rented out by OSIF members of good standing (member for 2 months or longer).
- All money collected from rental fees will go into an equipment maintenance/insurance fund.
- Proper crediting of OSIF is required on finished motion picture ex. “Equipment provided by the Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking – www.OSIF.org”
- An OSIF Production will not be at liberty to pay for rental fees. An OSIF production is determined by either a competition, random lottery, or a passing vote of majority by the OSIF membership. The timing and choosing of method will be determined by the OSIF board.
- Rates are for 2 days only, or weekend rental. Longer rentals must be negotiated with OSIF board.
- Renter is responsible for any loss/damage to equipment, and must sign the OSIF rental agreement upon time of rental.
- OSIF requires a DVD copy of the completed motion picture for archival and grant writing purposes.
- 1980FOUR Productions and OSIF retain the right to refuse rental to any OSIF member.
